It's something long suspected their wives and girlfriends - women want to target men who are already in relationships.

Now that the study found scientific evidence that is well-founded fears, and that women really do not have a preference for men who are attached.

Be called in the phenomenon known as 'no poaching' - but was soon 'Angelina Jolie impact' - women and expressed a clear preference for those who did not exist.

In a study conducted by researchers at the University of Oklahoma in the United States, also briefed the participants on the image of a man or a woman attractive in moderation. Half of the potential and not one and the other half said it is not.

The researchers found Dr. Melissa Burkley, Jessica Parker that 90pc of women and asked interested in man when he was in a relationship, compared to 59pc when he said the man himself was one.

The researchers wrote in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, and concluded: "These results suggest that unmarried women significantly more interested in pursuing a man less available to them."

Assume the following: "This may be due to man and are already shown its ability to commitment, and to some extent, has been screened by another woman."

It is the science of Angelina Jolie, and actress.

She raised the admiration and scorn equally when boiled Brad Pitt from 'Friends' actress Jennifer Aniston, who was married at the time. Jolie and Pitt have always insisted that it did not actually begin until after the marriage relationship to break down.

Men, on the other hand, he expressed no preference in this study about whether women in a relationship or not: "The results showed that women only once they were more interested in pursuing the goal of the attached rather than a single goal."
